Candidates must have the ability to teach all computer applications including internet, MS Office, and other software-based programs. This position is responsible for the construction and delivery of a challenging, relevant and engaging curriculum to support student learning. The ideal candidate will have familiarity working in a middle school climate as well as the concepts of a professional learning community.
They will have familiarity with curriculum development and 21st Century Technology skills. Further, candidates will be asked to demonstrate through discussion knowledge of the intellectual, social, and personal skills of middle level children as well as knowledge of diversity in learning, instruction, assessment, and classroom management.
Excellent communication skills are required. The position will include 4 classes at the middle school (2 -6th grade and 2 -8th grade) and 2 classes at the high school.
