Assist Program Director and Program Officer to respond to external inquiries from SRI philanthropic clients, grantees, and community members in a positive, professional manner, and assist in promoting a responsive, cooperative atmosphere.
Manage logging, classifying, data entry, tracking, and responding to letters of inquiry, proposals, and awarded grants.
Handle administrative functions including preparing and proofreading correspondence, reports, and other documents for clients.
Assure appropriate due diligence procedures are in place and utilized, including use of IRS determination letters, identifying organization’s exempt classification status, and special provisions or limitations.
Utilize MicroEdge GIFTS database for proposal processing and reporting.
Coordinate development, preparation and distribution of board meeting packets.
Respond to audit verification, state and federal registration, surveys and other general foundation inquiries.
Attend board meetings as required to take minutes.
Heavy volume of filing, maintain philanthropic department filing system.
Generate reports and request grant checks from Finance Director.
Respond and refer telephone and written inquires.
Monitor and maintain SRI internal and external websites to ensure accurate and timely posting of information.
Create annual report for Foundation client.
Continually improve and update grants management procedures; keep procedures manual current.
Receive and direct visitors and guests, arrange for amenities as needed.
Answer, screen and direct phone calls.
Conduct initial sort of mail and distribute mail.
Other duties as needed or assigned for SRI clients.
