BOSCH Controls Technician - New Richmond, WI or near any airport

Job Description:
Bosch Packaging Services Inc. is a multi-million dollar, growth-orientedservice organization for packaging machinery. Our business has enjoyed a marketplace reputation of being an industry leader producing high quality products. We currently have an opening for a CONTROLS TECHNICIAN, which can be located near any major airport in the US.

Responsible for the installation, testing, analyzing, maintaining,repairing and training of Bosch packaging equipment and associated products at customer sites, with primary emphasis on supporting various control platforms. Primary focus is to provide customers with excellent technical customer service and ensure complete satisfaction. This position has a direct and significant impact on maintaining our customer base as well as growing new business for Bosch Packaging Services.

Duties include: Support all aspects of electrical control systems,equipment and machinery; Responsible for the installation and technical support of PLC and PC based hardware and software; Follow engineering release and revision control procedures; maintain design, standardization and configuration history of shipped machinery. Provide field service repairs, training and installations as scheduled by Field Service department.

� Demonstrated knowledge and experience with ladder logic as well asother machine control software and hardware.
� Demonstrated advanced mechanical, electrical and software skills.
� Ability to support various software control platforms for complete packaging lines.
� Proficiency in operating controls systems of equipment (Allen Bradley,CTC, Moeller, Siemens, PLC, PMAC, etc.).
� Proficiency in robotic vision systems, software and hardwareconfigurations and production parameter setup.
� Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel, fromproduction to management.
� Strong computer skills (MS Office)� Strong oral and written skills with the ability to manage time andwork independently

� Prior work experience in repair and maintenance of capital equipment,or electronics (such as servo drives and programmable controllers) is preferred.
� Strong customer service focus with ability to assure customerconfidence in the operation of equipment.

� Electrical Engineering degree or commensurate experience.
� Minimum of five years in the Packaging industry designing, installingand trouble-shooting PLC and motion control sofware and hardware.
� Prior work experience in repair / maintenance of capital equipment orelectronics, such as servo drives, HMI's and programmable controllers.
� May be required to live in a specific geographic area to better servea specific customer base.
� German-speaking skills a plus, but not required.

� Work in tight quarters; on top and underneath equipment and must beable to stand, stoop and bend continuously (approx. 66% of the time).
� Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
� Maintain a flexible schedule allowing for travel on short notice.
� Must be able, and have clearance, to travel extensively in North America as well as worldwide, when needed. Approximately 80% travel required.
� Must be able to submit to safety, background, and drug/alcohol testingas required by customer(s).
� Must be able to stand, stoop and bend continuously (approx. 66% of thetime).
� Must have good visual acuity, including color.
� If required, must be able to properly and appropriately don personalprotective equipment.
